Below is the recommended time frame to have your client leave the solution on before rinsing off.
1 hour- Light
2 hours -Medium
3 hours- Medium-Dark
4 hours- Dark
**Please note that the client has the convenience of being able to rinse off quick but it is normal to look like there is no color after rinsing. The rapid tan still takes approx 12 hours for color to develop and will continue to darken over 24 hours for full color development.
Recommended for olive, darker skin tones that can tan well & those with yellow undertones. Not recommended on very fair clients with pink undertones due to the violet bronzer.
What is a violet based solution? This means that the bronzer is violet based to counteract any yellow undertones. The color guide (Bronzer) is not a "traditional" golden brown color. If you are new to violet based solutions, as the spray tan pro you MUST educate yourself on this product and know how to properly explain it to your client. Due to the color guide we recommend it on olive toned clients.
PLEASE READ- If you choose to use it on fair clients or skin tones with a lot of pink or red undertones PLEASE NOTE that the violet/rosy color bronzer can be very noticeable. It can even look like they are sunburned. You will need to educate the client and advise them it will go away once they shower & the tan is fully developed. The color will turn into a beautiful brown tan.
Do not apply more than 2-2.5 ounces on the body is recommended (on an average size client) or the tan can look unnatural ( Total oz can vary depending on the spray gun and application method)
When rinsing off the client must do a water rinse only. No soaps or body wash.
Do not apply any oils, lotions, perfumes to the skin after the first rinse. That is because the tan will still continue to develop over the next 12 hours. They can use lotion the next day.
