How to use:
Competition tanning is unique & different classes/events will require various shades of darkness. As such our recommendations are just a guideline and application will vary. As the professional you will have to customize the level of darkness for your client so we always recommend doing a trial on your client to ensure best results a few weeks before their event to make sure you are getting them dark enough for their particular event. We recommend a 2 day process as outlines below.
If you are used to doing a 3 day process you can & it has been tested with great results. But you will have to trial your technique with our solution
2 day spray process.
Method #1
Day 1: Use Rich Mahogany 10% as the base coat. Apply 2-4 coats (depending on desired darkness) drying well in between coats. Have client leave on until next day. They should not sleep nude. They must sleep in loose/dark clothes to avoid transfer of the solution.
Day 2: Do not have your client rinse. (Except face if a woman and she is getting her makeup applied for the event) Apply another 1-3 coats of Rich Mahogany 10% (Amount of coats is depending on the competition class) dry client in between each coat.
We do not offer a Perfect Glow glaze at this time. So if your client will be using glaze. Do not apply glaze until approx 30 minutes before they go on stage and we recommend a spray glaze. You are responsible for testing glaze to ensure compatibility.
Method #2
Day 1: Do a regular application of our Rich Mahogany RAPID drying in between coats. Have the client rinse off in 4 hours with just water (No soap).
Day 2: Then apply 2-3 coats of Rich Mahogany 10% color drying in between each coat. (Amount of coats will depend on the competition class)
